Chapel Dulcinea at Wizard Academy is a romantic open air Wedding Chapel. Located approximately 20 minutes from downtown
Austin, this chapel sits quietly but daringly on the edge of an ancient walking way trail overlooking the Texas hill country.
The
Chapel Dulcinea opened its doors at sunset, April 23 2005. The chapel was unveiled just after passover - the day of new beginnings -
began. April 23rd was chosen because of Cervantes, the most celebrated voice in Spanish Literature, and Shakespeare, the most
celebrated voice in English Literature, simultaneously graduated from this life on that day in 1616. It was for them a day
of new beginnings.

Dulcinea's Bell Tower houses a 28 - inch Meneeley bronze church bell cast in Troy, New York, in 1882. The 160 year old
oak door leading into the bell tower is 10.5 feet tall and is opened following the second "I do." The newly joined couple
then pulls the rope together to announce their union to the world.

I took these photos at my brother-in-laws wedding. I found this site very interesting due to the landscape and architecture
of the facility. i chose this location for my site because I wanted something with a mature look but at the same time it is
new and different. I really wanted to stay away from older buildings. Even though this is not apart of my immediate neighborhood,
it is part of my culture and history of being a Texan. So please enjoy.
